Compare 3.2 and 3.3 in relation to how Louis XIV and Versailles are described.  Summarize 3.4 in today's language.
Read p. 537-544 and answer the following:
How did Louis XIV and Jean Baptiste Colbert centralize control of Europe?
How did absolute monarchs alter the position of nobles in politics and society?
Explain the causes and efects of Louis' continuous wars?
