Week Two: The Renaissance

This week we will delve deeper into European History with the start of a great "rebirth" of ideas and artwork.  The Renaissance marks the beginning of content knowledge for this course, as well as the beginning of many styles of thinking.  

Until our textbooks arrive (grrrrr...) please feel free to reference the linked sections.  We will discuss how to read a section to take notes.

• Graphic Organizer for Analyzing Images
• Choose a piece of artwork from 1.3 and fill in the graphic organizer.  Research your artwork if necessary.

• Notes to go along with videos embedded within.
• Reading:  Civic Humanism: Machiavelli and Castiglione
• Compare and contrast the views of each man.  One page minimum.
